The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has decided to suspend the activities of this month's cultural program and those that were held on March 8 as a preventive measure in the face of the current situation caused by the spread of the coronavirus.
The Consistorio Torreño lacks competencies in health emergency situations, so its government team has decided to follow the instructions of the competent authorities.
"Putting into practice the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the regional government we have decided to cancel the events that involve agglomerations, since in this context it is important to minimize the elements of risk," explains Mayor Joaquín Vela Fernández.
