That is why, in its work to make a municipality from a constructive and responsible attitude in its capacity as the main political force of the opposition and with the value that comes from the democratic legitimacy given by the ballot boxes to defend the common good of the 21,400 residents of Las Torres de Cotillas, the PP proposes the creation, as a matter of urgency, of a Special Commission on Covid-19 in which we can all join efforts and help to face solutions that mitigate the effects of this crisis of magnitude hitherto unprecedented in our country.In line with this line of actions, the PP Torreño is in permanent contact with the citizens and the local groups, who are expressing their perception of the situation in the municipality and the most urgent needs, measures and demands to emerge afloat.

The PP, sensitive to that state of affairs, demands the creation of this body designed to give a comprehensive response and with the most optimal tools to the consequences of this pandemic.The PP of Las Torres de Cotillas proposes that this Special Commission, made up of people who are representative and knowledgeable of the present reality of the municipality, have as its apex of its interdisciplinary powers the evaluation of the impact of Covid-19 in the locality, the monitoring of the measures adopted by the city council and other Administrations to combat this pandemic, the study, analysis, debate and management of the solutions that may serve - both now and in the stage after the end of the state of alarm and focused on its key strategy purpose- to the recovery of the population, and the periodic rendering of accounts to the neighbors on the progress and results achieved in this regard and in the full exercise of full transparency.
