If until now it only took place on Fridays in the esplanade of Oltra Moltó Avenue, the other two will be retaken that before the health crisis due to COVID-19 began, were carried out periodically in the municipality: Tuesdays in that same location ( in front of the Local Security Center) and Saturdays in Los Pulpites.
"They will work with the main measures of the security protocols that we must all continue to adopt in any social field: interpersonal distancing, use of a mask and hydroalcoholic gel for the hands, avoidance of crowds for which customers are asked to stand in line to access to the posts ...
", points out the mayor of Torreño,Joaquín Vela Fernández. In addition, these markets -which are already fully in the new normal and offer all products, such as food, textiles, etc.- have other specific rules: the recommendation that customers do not touch gender in food stands and what do the sellers; that all positions provide gel and gloves to those who request it ... In these markets, coordinated by the Department of Commerce, Citizen Security and Public Domain, they will continue to carry out support tasks for the Local Police, Civil Protection and workers of the municipal Department of Works and Services.
