"In this difficult situation that we are currently living in the face of the health pandemic, we have had to adapt our proposal to guarantee the safety of all its participants," explains Torreño mayor, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who anticipates that for this reason the popular march on foot and skates. And focused on the safety of citizens, one of the main activities will be the distribution of 3,500 masks with this year's slogan: "Without equality, there is no love." This distribution will begin on Friday, November 20 at the weekly market, where an information tent will be set up on the service of the Specialized Attention Center for Women Victims of Violence (CAVI) in which commemorative t-shirts will also be distributed.
"In addition, throughout the week businesses will distribute masks free of charge in collaboration with the City Council to raise awareness and reach the entire population," says councilor Elisa Isabel Hurtado Avilés.
