Keys of NO to the Celaá Law proposed by the PP (30/11/2020)

| The Minister of Education will hold a meeting by videoconference with teachers and AMPAS to explain the keys of NO to the Celaá Law proposed by the PP | The Minister of Education of the Regional Government, Esperanza Moreno, will hold this afternoon, at 6:00 p.m., a meeting by videoconference with teachers and AMPAS from concerted centers of Las Torres de Cotillas to explain the keys to NO to the Celaá Law proposed by the PP .The Celaá Law asphyxiates the concerted one and that is why the PP will defend the model of educational freedom because it is a frontal attack that curtails the freedom of parents. With this challenge and positioning of the popular, the autonomous responsible for Education of the Government of the PP in the Region of Murcia, Esperanza Moreno, will hold a meeting by videoconference at 18 hours this Monday promoted by the Popular Party of Las Torres de Cotillas with teachers and parents of students of the municipal schools in the framework of an initiative to warn that the Celaá law asphyxiates concerted education by suppressing the clause of social demand, thus paving the way for massive suppression in schools agreements and also includes the prohibition of giving up public land for the construction of said schools. The Torreño PP will rely on all the instruments of democracy to defend the model of educational freedom because it is a frontal attack that curtails the freedom of parents. Because more than 90 percent of families in the Region of Murcia have been able to educate their children in the center they have preferred, but the PSOE-Podemos Law will prevent them from doing so by eliminating the so-called single 'district' and imposing on parents the center your child must attend regardless of the families' preference in terms of location or educational programs offered. It is a right that corresponds to the families and cannot be said or decided by Pedro Sánchez or the State. The Celaá Law is a law that also lacks dialogue because PSOE and Podemos have not allowed the educational community to participate in it, at the moment in which they are leaving their skin to mitigate the negative effects of the pandemic in educational centers .It is also a law that condemns special education to extinction despite the fact that many families have chosen these centers for their children, as they provide highly professionalized educational care for students with serious needs. Likewise, eliminating Spanish as a vehicular language is against the Constitution.

With this imposition, it has become clear that the socialist government of Sanchez is using the reform of the education law for partisan purposes and as a bargaining chip to negotiate budgets with its nationalist partners.Among other things, the PP is also concerned about the government's claim to suppress the opposition for the entry of the Body of Inspectors, which would open the door to converting the inspection into a group of officials selected for political affinities and not for knowledge accredited in a test objective. The law also does not address any of the challenges of 21st century education such as the bilingual system, digitization, access to the teaching profession, VET or the successful dual model.
