The councilors of the PP of Las Torres de Cotillas Manuel García and Francisco José Torres have accompanied the General Director of Sports, Francisco Javier Sánchez, at noon this Saturday to the starting gun of the Senior National Badminton Championship that will be played until 7 December in the Municipal Pavilion "Mireia Belmonte" without public attendance attending to the security measures against Covid-19. Hundred and a half players (including 13 torreños with rich track records) from more than 60 clubs from all over Spain will come together in this nationwide event that our town is hosting for the second time. In the PP of Las Torres de Cotillas we are committed to a quality sport that continues to make the municipality a benchmark of participation and healthy practice.
A management line that the previous local government of the PP demonstrated at a high level with the implementation of sports infrastructures, economic, technical and human support to clubs and associations, competitions of the greatest projection, offer of activities for all segments of the population , neighborhoods and districts and in a large number of disciplines and modalities.
