| A video of its 4th year ESO students has won in the Secondary and Baccalaureate category of this contest organized by the Directorate General Information on Educational Innovation and Attention to Diversity | The IES La Florida in Las Torres de Cotillas has been awarded in the contest "We celebrate the Constitution", organized by the General Directorate of Educational Innovation and Attention to Diversity and whose objective was to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the Magna Carta of our country.
"The schoolchildren had to make a video to upload it to the YouTube platform, where they had to vote and the winners were the most popular," reports the Councilor for Education, Rafael Martínez Garc a. 4th year ESO students have been responsible for this award-winning project in the Secondary and Baccalaureate category.
“Our video is about two friends talking about the Constitution because they have an exam and with the fantasy of being travelers in time, they go on a historical journey through objects from different periods that go finding them in old suitcases ”, explains Gloria Fenollar, the teacher who has tutored this work. All this is combined with an explanatory video with manual work done by the students, and all this is shown by the protagonist through his mobile.
"The idea that we wanted to convey is that today we are what we are thanks to our Spanish Constitution," says the teacher. “It is exciting to see how our young people get involved in learning about important aspects of our country, as in this case is the Constitution.
And it is even more so because they have demonstrated their creativity and talent, which has made them just deserving of this award.
