| The amateur theater company of Las Torres de Cotillas has incorporated this ironic work on the world of art to its wide repertoire | 01/07/21 The amateur theater group "Tejuba" from Las Torres de Cotillas, which this 2021 celebrates 55 years of history, has already incorporated its latest assembly into its repertoire: "Art", an adaptation of the play Yasmina Reza original.
A hilarious and ironic comedy that reflects on the world of art and the avant-garde that the Torreños have already represented in Murcia with great success during this pandemic.
"They have represented it with very good results both in the CAM classroom and at the University," explains the Councilor for Culture, Antonio Contreras Martínez, who reports that all their representations have a strict anti-COVID protocol guaranteeing a culture safe.
"It is a very funny play, with a very subtle humor that makes us think.
And our actors from 'Tejuba' are, as always, exceptional," says the mayor.
And how could it be otherwise, the Torreño group has also premiered this work in their land this Christmas.
It was at the local House of Culture with free admission, the collaboration of the Department of Culture and the assistance of the Torreño mayor, Joaqu n Vela Fern ndez.
