| It has built a sidewalk in front of its main facade to collect rainwater that made access to the center difficult on rainy days | 01/08/21 The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas has built a sidewalk in front of the main facade of the "Valent n Buend a" school in the municipality that incorporates a grid for the collection of rainwater, whose objective is to improve security for the members of your educational community.
"This construction will solve the problem that was created on rainy days, since large puddles were formed at the entrance that made it difficult for users of the center to pass," explains the Councilor for Education, Rafael Mart nez Garcia.
In addition, this sidewalk will serve to regulate parking in front of the school located on the Maestro Don ngel Palaz n esplanade, since cars were parked right at the doors and on many occasions children, parents and center staff did not they practically had room to pass.
"This measure was necessary because the comfort and protection of children and adults in educational settings are a priority," says Torreño mayor, Joaqu n Vela Fern ndez.
