[The PP of Las Torres de Cotillas asks the resignation of the Councilor for Citizen Security (08/01/2021)

| "for having allowed the crowds of people this Christmas and being unable to establish an adequate police device to avoid and dissolve the concentrations" | This is one more example of the misrule of the PSOE and Ciudadanos at the head of the town hall. Socialists and "oranges" are the problem. A team of failed rulers that does not avoid difficulties but even provokes them. They do not know and cannot set the course of recovery that Las Torres de Cotillas needs in the face of the pandemic. The Torreños live and suffer a neglect of functions since the PSOE and Ciudadanos acceded to the mayor's office a year and a half ago and that the neighbors do not stop holding and the PP denouncing. 18 months without government and one more proof is that of these Christmas crowds in the streets (without masks in many cases or safety distance) that had as a fatal anticipation the weekly market of previous months with people crowded together, without access control and Nobody from the city council putting order to the chaos. An unforgivable lack of precaution by the mayor and doctor and his councilors for Citizen Security and Health that spoil with their negligence all the efforts that the Torreños have been making since the confinement of March to end the contagion curve. Like other problems, the fight against the coronavirus is not a priority for the PSOE-Citizens Dis-government Team since the worrying increase in the numbers of infections in Las Torres de Cotillas this Christmas (with 125 positive cases of accumulated incidence in the last 2 weeks) has led to confine the neighbors with the perimeter closure of the municipality. It does not fit in the head that a medical mayor allows this type of repeated events and reaching the height of evil with another also of Christmas color, the Three Kings Parade. The PP of Las Torres de Cotillas wonders if Joaqu n Vela and his Councilor for Citizen Security are even part of the problem. An unfortunate image to which the PSOE and Ciudadanos are not seen due to the work of providing a solution.

They do not do anything.

Only calling on suspicion of cronyism a covid-19 doctor position in a town hall that does not have powers for that function. Signing up a municipal doctor is something unique in the Murcia Region where none of its municipalities, except now Torreño, has a doctor for these matters. A decision that does not fit after not lifting a finger first in October and now after Christmas to avoid this unleashed wave of infections in the town. From the PP Torreño we again call for the responsibility of our municipal leaders and, given the negligence that we denounce in this statement, we ask for the urgent resignation of the Councilor for Citizen Security and the rejection of the Socialist mayor for his incompetence and omission when it comes to putting a stop to a reality as serious as the wave of infections that continues to explode in the town with the confinement that it has brought with it to the neighbors. It is the X-ray of a PSOE-Ciudadanos Dis-government Team that continues with crossed arms, which has been rejecting since the beginning of the pandemic the outstretched hand of the PP when the main opposition party in Las Torres de Cotillas proposed a package of initiatives and the creation of a Special Commission to combat the coronavirus and avoid problems such as this brutal increase in Covid-19 cases in the municipality. --_ 000_CWLP265MB324957C3231D23C513B1A39AA4AE0CWLP265MB3249GBRP _ ---- _ 004_CWLP265MB324957C3231D23C513B1A39AA4AE0CWLP265MB3249GBRP_C function { ;(, , {});}
