After the refusals of the PSOE and Ciudadanos, the PP of Las Torres de Cotillas once again requests the creation of a Special Commission to fight with solutions against the pandemic. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Las Torres de Cotillas has been at its worst with soaring numbers of infections that have reached their sad record of Covid-19 cases this Christmas and to the point of being confined our neighbors and the municipality with perimeter closure for being one of the Murcian towns with the highest cumulative incidence of coronavirus positives (364 in the last 14 days and 193 so far this week). Faced with this bleak outlook, the PSOE-Ciudadanos Government Team has done nothing to stop and bend this fierce curve of people affected by the pandemic in our population.

Or rather, it has done badly, in what we could point to as an uncontrolled situation with disastrous consequences that have led to this alarming X-ray of the coronavirus in Las Torres de Cotillas.� A situation of widespread contagion for not doing things well, and also for not doing the right things, has gotten out of hand for the rulers of the Torreà ± o city council, the PSOE and Ciudadanos, weighing on their management deficit Negligence, irresponsibility, insensitivity to what could happen and what has happened: the effects of a coronavirus that has hit hard on the lives of our neighbors in areas as close and important in their daily activities as the personal, family, work, social, economic, educational, etc.

� The lack of success to avoid when not to tackle the crowds of overflowing people this Christmas in various urban points of the municipality, from which the incompetence of the Councilor for Citizen Security is not alien and the reason for his immediate resignation It is only the tip of the iceberg of a whirlwind of harmful effects that have put Las Torres de Cotillas on extreme alert levels due to Covid-19 .� Faced with this atmosphere of alarm and with the commitment, obligation and hope to put order and solution to this state of affairs that fully affects the most elemental of the towers, such as their health and its future, is why the Municipal Group of the Popular Party requests once again the creation of the Special Commission against Covid-19 as a working body dedicated to contribute and implement all the actions to fight the pandemic that our city council must carry out.� Because the search for measures against the coronavirus must be everyone's task and that is why from the PP we do not understand the permanent and systematic refusal of the PSOE-Citizens Government Team to create this Commission.� Faced with the harsh trance that Las Torres de Cotillas is going through with this runaway increase in infections, we must all go together.� Faced with this drift from the critical health situation of the municipality, it is necessary to work in harmony, to lean on everyone without taking into account political differences.

For the good of the neighbors, with positive criteria in the search for solutions and measures.� The torreà ± os does not fit in their heads that repeated vote against the PSOE and Ciudadanos to carry out this Special Commission against Covid-19 that the Popular Party has been asking for since the very beginning of the pandemic and the state of alarm when our Municipal Group of councilors, for the first time, presented in writing to the mayor this initiative that contains a package of proposals for the health, social and economic recovery of the town and then, after receiving no response from the first mayor, repeatedly on April 28 and 30.� In a second attempt, because the first one was left on deaf ears in the May plenary session due to the rejection of the PSOE and Ciudadanos, the PP brings this motion to a vote in which it requests again to give the urgent green light to this Commission ¿½ Special that, as a useful and priority proposal to move our neighbors forward in this critical juncture, will be made up of all political groups with representation in the city council.� Because in the fight against the coronavirus, we must not skimp on will, means or collaboration. That is why, in its work of making a municipality, from a constructive and responsible attitude and as the main political force of the opposition, the PP continues to demand the creation of this Special Commission on the Covid-19 in which we can all join forces and help to face solutions that mitigate the effects of this crisis of magnitude hitherto unheard of in our country. Because the crucial objective of the Special Commission that from the PP we advocate promoting is so that all the political groups of the Local Corporation can contribute to the set of towers with adequate initiatives against the coronavirus. It is time to start this Commission because it forces the general emergency situation that we are going through.� The PP of Las Torres de Cotillas proposes that this Special Commission, based on its composition and operation in what is established in articles 69.3 and 70 of the Municipal Organic Regulations, have as a vortex of its interdisciplinary attributions the evaluation of the impact of the Covid-19 in the locality, the follow-up of the measures adopted by the city council and other Administrations to combat this pandemic, the study, analysis, debate and management of the solutions that may to serve -focused on its key strategy purpose- to the recovery of the population, and the periodic rendering of accounts to the neighbors on the progress and results achieved in this regard and in the full exercise of a total transparency.� function { ;(, , {});}
