827 students from Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary already involved in the practical phase of the traditional school driver education campaign Cotillas Towers, organized by the "Police Tutor" program and the Department of Education and Public Safety.

After the theoretical part conducted in the centers, school -ejerciendo drivers on bicycles- are being implemented in mobile traffic park installed in the municipal sports information and advice received.

Participating schools are: "Cervantes", "Divine Master", "The Park", "Maestro Joaquin Cantero", "Monteazahar", "San José I", "San Jose II" "Susarte", "Valentine Buendía" "Vista Alegre" Vocational Training Centre "Our Lady of the Salceda" IES "La Florida" and IES "Salvador Sandoval."

Organized a year in collaboration with the Local Police and Civil Protection body of the municipality, its closure will take place on Friday, March 11 (10 hours) at City Hall "Mireia Belmonte".

There the most outstanding students in the practical part held an exhibition with learning and participants will receive a corresponding diploma.

Against bullying

The "Police Tutor" Torreño program has already conducted other activities in local schools during this course, as talks aimed at preventing drug use (featuring schoolchildren in the new canine unit of the local police) or the prevention bullying or "bullying".

This initiative's main objective is to offer a specialized police response to problems that may have children in the school and family, through multidisciplinary solutions.

In fact, on Wednesday March 9 responsible for this program will move to IES "Salvador Sandoval" for, throughout the morning, give talks about bullying "courses of 1st and 2nd ESO. These will be completed in the rest courses during the month of May.
