The Association of Families and the Mentally Ill Murcia (AFES) held yesterday morning Friday, October 7 at the Adolfo Suarez Plaza de Las Torres de Cotillas the "World Mental Health Day 2016" event organized by the Day Center with counts in the municipality and with the cooperation of the city Torreño.
"I'm like you but still do not know" was the motto of this year for a celebration that was scheduled a morning with various activities
It started with the reading by AFES president, Maria Teresa Martinez, a manifesto for awareness in society about mental illness associated with positive values.
Later AFES users and workers formed a big orange tie - symbol of mental health and then performed a fun flashmob.
In addition, dynamic participatory games and were held for all public and an information table was installed.
This proposal -in which participated Torreño mayor, Domingo Coronado- was part of a regional initiative of the association, in addition to facilities in Las Torres de Cotillas has other centers in the Region of Murcia.
