The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has received a mention of "Map Infoparticipa", which values ​​the high degree of transparency and promoting citizen participation of institutional websites of the municipalities of the Region of Murcia.

This project, carried out by professionals from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in collaboration with professors from the University of Murcia and the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM), shows use the local public administrations of the Internet and new media to promote accountability and transparency through the analysis of 52 indicators of municipal websites.

"These are the results of the second assessment that this project makes to the websites of Murcia municipalities," Coronado said.
