The "I Maratón Vega Media", which will travel next Sunday 26 March, the municipalities of Las Torres de Cotillas, Molina de Segura, Ceutí, Lorquí and Alguazas, will be beneficial.
"The collection will go to the local boards of the Association of Spanish Against Cancer (AECC), so that the racers will contribute their share of solidarity with their participation," explains the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports Torreño, Ginés Pérez.
A great sports party - which will also propose a half-marathon of 22 kilometers for those who do not want to run so much - sponsored by the Federation of Athletics of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) and that will have departure and arrival in Molina de Segura.
A test that has already opened its enrollment period (www.babelsport.com/index.php?accion=paso_1), which can be formalized until next March 17 for a price of 25 euros.
"It will be a day dedicated to the sport, in which in addition each other organized physical-sport activities parallel, such as racing for children, games, inflatable, artistic exhibitions, zumba classes ...", explains the councilman.
"Participants will have, among others - with massage and shower service, food or bag of the corridor, and there will be trophies and medals for the best," says Perez.
"It is the first time that a marathon will run in our town, where participants will visit the most emblematic places of each municipality," says the mayor, who heads to the FAMU website (www.lafamu.es) or to the Own page of the test in Facebook (www.facebook.com/maratonvegamedia) to who wants to gather more information of the test.
