The Town Hall of Las Torres de Cotillas is immersed in the improvement of municipal sports facilities and the latest works are renovating the tennis courts.
"These improvements entail the replacement of nets, the repainting of lines and curbs, and the cleaning of the playing surface with a high-pressure water machine," explains Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez.
In addition to the improvements in the game area, viewers will also benefit from these jobs.
"140 colored seats have been installed in the stands," notes the mayor, who remembers that until now these stands were made of cement, "which improves the comfort of spectators who witness the parties of a sport with so much boom in the town".
"All the improvements and reforms that we are carrying out in the Municipal Sports Center are part of the 'Master Plan', coordinated by the Department of Physical Activity and Sports and Urbanism," says Pérez, a performance for which was also requested The proposals and collaboration of the local clubs and sports associations.

And is that tennis is a sport very practiced in Las Torres de Cotillas.
"We have a tennis league for amateur players organized by the 'Las Torres Tennis Association', with sole in our region and that last year had 106 participants divided into nine categories," declares the mayor.
In addition, a tennis school offers a total of 45 players (30 children and 15 adults) in these facilities, and there are several tournaments throughout the year that bring together hundreds of participants, such as the Festivities "12 hours".
