More 1,500 participants of all ages parade in the Las Torres de Cotillas Carnival (04/03/2017)

More than 1,500 people of all ages and distributed in 26 comparsas have participated in the afternoon of today Saturday March 4 in the streets of Las Torres de Cotillas in the traditional Carnival parade.

Leaving Juan Carlos I Avenue and arriving at the Chapel of the Cross, the tour has been followed by thousands of people, who have been able to enjoy the immense imagination of its members and their talent by performing different choreographies.

And it is possible to see everything from poker cards, ladybugs, giraffes or Egyptians to forest nymphs, swans, dancers, gunmen and musketeers, including also a tribute to the popular musical "Mamma Mia."

"I want to thank the clubs for their involvement in these festivities," says Councilwoman Festivities, Amalia Pérez, who did not want to forget "the great work and dedication of the members of the Celebration Committee."

Some carnival activities that began on Friday March 3 at the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" with an evening that recorded a full to the flag.

Presented by the journalist Juan Manuel Piñero and presided by the mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, the night counted on the official start of these celebrations that mark the proclamation.
