The Holy Week 2017 of Las Torres de Cotillas, whose poster is starring the image of the Virgin of Sorrows, officially starts tomorrow Saturday April 1 (20:30 hours) in the Church of Our Lady of the Salceda.
It will do it with the proclamation of Maria Dolores Molina, member of the Brotherhood of the Holy Woman Veronica and the Holy Christ of the Fall that this year marks its 50th anniversary.
At 19:30 a Mass will be officiated by the titular parish priest of the Torreño church, Ismael Sánchez, which will count on the participation of all the Brotherhoods of the municipality.
An event organized by the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías de Las Torres de Cotillas, which will also pay tribute to Ángeles Sola, president of the Confraternity of the Christ Flagellation between 2012 and 2016, which this year has been designated as 'Nazarene of the Year'.
Children's premiere parade
The processions will begin on Sunday, April 2 (6pm), with an exclusive initiative for children to be released this year.
"This children's parade will be held for the first time this year in our municipality, it will be only for children under 16 years and will have thrones and images representative of each Brotherhood, new elaboration and adapted to the size of the small," explains the president of the Cabildo , José Sánchez.
With exit from Church of the Virgin of the Salceda, will cross the streets Mayor, Mula, Field, Calvillo and Mayor to return to its point of origin.
