The House of Culture 'Pedro Serna' of Las Torres de Cotillas hosted yesterday Friday October 27 a new edition of the 'literary Friday' organized by the 'Literary Association Las Torres'.
On this occasion, the evening served as a tribute to the Oriolan poet Miguel Hernández on the 75th anniversary of his death and had the collaboration of the local amateur theater group 'Tejuba'.
With the motto 'Miguel Hernández, companion of the soul, companion' - in clear reference to his' Elegía a Ramón Sijé'-, during this act poems by the popular author were recited and even some of them will have their musical version.
The attendees had free admission to this evening in which, as usual, the Department of Culture collaborated.
An intense November
But the cultural events planned in the Torreño venue for the next dates do not end here.
Tomorrow, Sunday, October 29 (12 hours) there will be a magic performance by Rubén Ortega, while on Thursday, November 2 (8:30 pm), the '¡Vente al cine' cycle returns!
with the movie 'Truman', not recommended under 12 years.
"It is a film-colloquium cycle in which after the films we will have the opportunity to share opinions on the issues addressed by each," says Councilor for Culture, Pedro Cabrera, who explains that the cycle "is coordinated by the Municipal Library 'Rosa Contreras' ".
On Saturday November 11 (21 hours) will be held the closing gala and the awards ceremony of the 'VI Amateur Theater Competition Juan Baño', an event during which the group 'Tejuba' will represent the 'Don Juan Tenorio'.
More cultural events
On Thursday, November 16 (8:30 pm) the 'Come to the cinema!'
with 'Elsa and Fred', a film suitable for all audiences.
One day after the association 'Acultamar' will present the book 'Poetic aromas of that land' (20'30 hours), in an act in which the Department of Culture collaborates.
The association of hospital clowns' Pupaclown 'will offer on Sunday, November 19 (18 hours) an afternoon of the most childish with the play' The Three Little Pigs', while Friday 24 (20'30 hours) will return on 'Friday Literary '.
