The Department of Equal Opportunities Cotillas Towers has already begun to work to prepare the "Christmas Break School" of the municipality, an initiative which aims to encourage and facilitate the reconciliation of family and work people working outside the home or make occupational training school holiday periods. This proposal will be fun and educational day out for 23, 24, 27, 29, 30y December 31, 2010, and 3, 4 and 5 January 2011 from 8 to 17 hours.

Aimed at school children from 3 to 12 years, will be canteen and workshops for the price of 50 euros registration.

Thus, from November 2 until the 30th of that month interested in enrolling their children in this proposal may do so by contacting the local Youth House.

"This service is aimed at school children whose parents work outside the home or conduct a training course," said the mayor of the area, Fina Almela.

Against gender violence

In addition, the Department of Equal Opportunity has already prepared local program of activities to commemorate the International Day against Gender Violence, "which as every year is celebrated on 25 November.
