The City of Las Torres de Cotillas remains determined to its environmental policy and this week has taken a further step to continue to offer citizens the possibility to recycle.
Thus, the Department of Environment, Agriculture and Water in collaboration with the foundation "Eco-Raee's" - has provided containers for fluorescent tubes and batteries to the municipal schools (a total of 7) who have released this type of material.
"With this measure, it becomes more accessible repository of fluorescent tubes and batteries, our neighbors, encouraging the collection and recycling," said the mayor responsible for the area, Inmaculada Fernández.
This measure is in addition to the installation of two containers in the Eco-Park City, located in the Industrial "San Jorge" for the deposit of the same, and all types of electronic devices.
An installation result of an agreement signed between the municipality and the association Torreño "Reset" for managing electronic equipment received in municipal facilities.
