On the morning of Tuesday 15 February, the Minister of Justice and Public Safety of the regional government, Manuel Campos, and the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado, presided over the official ceremony of laying the first stone of the new Local Centre Safety Torreño town, a facility that will house the offices of the local police of the municipality (now located on Main Street) and Civil Defence Corps (located next to the area of Urban Development).
