The young athlete is Torreño Sergio Jornet exathlón regional champion in cadet category in the competition organized by the Federation of Athletics in Alhama de Murcia and Cieza the past on 12 and 13 February respectively.
Thus Jornet imposed on tests of 60-meter freestyle (with a time of 7'60 seconds), long jump (with a score of 6 meters), weight (with a throw of 12'22 m) and 60 meters hurdles (with a time of 9'12 seconds), in addition to signing a second place at 1,000-meter freestyle (3:09:89) and third in high jump (1'65 m).

This victory entitles the young Athletics Club Towers to participate the next 26 and 27 February in the Championship of Spain to be held in the Asturian town of Oviedo.
Of note is the impressive track record of Jornet despite his youth, because it adds six titles and a regional sucampeonato junior category, and another 60-meter hurdles in regional cadet.
Obligation to love
The importance of Jornet athletic career is that he competes against opponents and against another opponent who is not: diabetes.
