The Department of Social Policy Cotillas Towers is conducting a series of free informational workshops on the prevention of traffic accidents, drug and alcohol, and gender equality into three distinct groups of the municipality: PCPI students, students of the workshop employment and students of adult education course.
The first of this is included in the various actions under the "Municipal Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction" and is funded by the Ministry of Health regional government.
This activity is being provided by a psychologist and claims that drivers (especially young people) are aware of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs.
"This proposal is important to raise basic to our neighbors and avoid accidents," said the councilor of the area, Fina Almela.
Awareness
On the other hand, the objective of the second proposal is to work and raise awareness on gender equality in general and gender equality in the workplace in particular.
The contents of these sessions cover concepts such as gender stereotypes and roles, productive work, reproductive work and community work, reconciliation of space and time, responsibility for housework and care, vertical and horizontal segregation in the labor market .. .
