Work on the new sports hall of the Secondary School (IES) "Salvador Sandoval" the municipality Torrena continue their march apace, some work which will involve a total investment of more of 817,000 euros, 350,000 euros of which came from a Regional Government grant.

So, today as you can see the finished exterior structure of the school sports hall which stands on a plot of over 2,300 m2 of land in a project being coordinated by the Councillors Torrena Planning and Sport.

This new sports hall, situated at the hamlet of Balearic Torrena pulpits-house a large indoor gym, and a track ready to practice different sports such as badminton, handball, football, volleyball, basketball and mini-basketball.

Also, the facility will, among other agencies, with entrance hall, two dressing rooms for pupils and two for teachers, a room for facilities designed to store fourth quarter and cleaning.

"These modern facilities will allow high school students to develop their sport in the best conditions and inclement weather does not interfere with their performance," said Councilwoman Torrena Planning, Yolanda Muñoz.
