On the morning of Friday January 13 the Plenary Hall of the Consistory of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas has hosted the official launch of the "International Poetry Competition III Montero Carmen Medina" of the municipality, organized by the Foundation in collaboration with the same name Department of Local Culture.
The event was attended by, among other authorities, the mayor Torrena, Domingo Coronado, and the councilman of Culture, José Joaquín licere and cultural director of the foundation, Maria Angeles Moragues.
The prize for the winner will be a prize of 500 euros provided entirely by the City Torrena and contest rules are available to all interested in web www.carmenmonteromedina.es, which also controls all the information concerning the development of competition jury's award and delivery.
With a deadline that expires next February 14, 2012, the theme is free and is open to older writers from all over the world.
Recall that the first edition was won by the writer Manuel Ramon Moya Bascuñana Orihuela, with the play "As shadows go unanswered," while in the second beat writer Juan Lorenzo Collado manchego thanks to his poem "When the late ".
