The Department of Environment Cotillas Towers held a year the "World Environment Day" and did so on Friday June 1 with an agenda full of free activities aimed primarily at school torreños, as is tradition in the locality.
Thus, in the morning made an information day in the Classroom of the Nature of the Municipal Youth Hostel, located in the urbanization El Coto.
Organized in collaboration with the group of scouts "Ithaca", this time involving students in 6 th Primary Education schools "Monte Azahar", "Susarte", "Cervantes" and "Divine Master".
The children were picked up by bus at their respective centers and facilities were transferred to the Municipal Shelter, where they attended a talk on recycling and therefore, a selective route for Green Path Rambla Salada.
Workshops for children
In the afternoon the Constitution Park was the venue for children's workshops held by one year the Department of Environment Torrena in collaboration with the company "Ecoembalajes Spain, SA" - and whose main objective was the promotion and awareness selective recycling in the town.

Moreover, among the children participating in the workshops was raffled a great folding bike within the site of action of "Eco-bike."
