Mayor Cotillas Towers, Domingo Coronado, held last Friday, November 8 at the Plenary Hall of the local Consistory a presentation of the 2014 Municipal Budget to officials and employees of the City Torreño.

This event, organized once again by the Department of Management Control, Quality, Training and Internal Communication Torrena, was part of the "Internal Communication Plan" Torreño Hall that was launched in 2005.

So, the mayor explained that this Budget Torreño fall within the Adjustment Plan 2012-2022, which requires a zero deficit, and again show their sensitivity to the existing economic situation substantially increasing items of Social Policy.

"For example, aid for urgent need and spend almost doubled from 45,000 to 85,000 euros, as the aid of books and school supplies to move from 12,000 to 20,000 euros," the audience specified Coronado, who said that also increase " social activities by 25%, from 8,000 to 10,000 euros, and other items such as telecare and drug prevention, growing by 17%. "

"These accounts allow the Consistory 2014 to continue paying salaries punctually all public employees, which will result in better service and higher quality to all our neighbors, pay suppliers with City Council within 22 days, which will lead to better economic deals in the maintenance, service and supplies, and continue to provide the tax deferrals and splits our neighbors, whose mean billing by the City is more than 240 days, "said the mayor Torreño.

Nearly 16 million

These municipal budgets amounted to 15,750,290.31 euros 2014 and were approved on 14 October in extraordinary session in ordinary by the Consistory Torreño, with votes in favor of the popular group and vote against PSOE and IU- The Greens.

Some accounts organized to "increase investment and maintain the services themselves and even those that are inappropriate, as the Infant School, Social Services and Sports," said Coronado.

All this, according to the mayor Torreño-without raising taxes, "frozen for a second year," as the IBI, which raises its tax rate since 2011.

"Our City has great financial autonomy because the 70% of the capital and income is only 30% of transfers from other administrations" explained Coronado, for whom these numbers confirm that the cost containment policy of the imminent economic crisis that started as early as 2008-with the Purchasing Centralized Unit-axis has allowed it to today's economic health with a "very good".
