The "Path of the 10,000 steps" Cotillas Towers is now a reality.

This signage project, which has helped the Association for the Integration of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities "CEOM", appeared in yesterday morning Friday, March 14 at a ceremony held in the Council Chamber of City Hall by Mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and Councillor for Sports, Ginés Pérez Iniesta.

A short path trail linking downtown Cotillas Towers with its natural surroundings and allows the city to join the initiative of the "Paths of the 10,000 steps" already implemented in other towns in the region.

People with intellectual disability CEOM launched this particular initiative "Think Big" Fundación Telefónica program, which other finalists selected from 300 projects across Spain form.

Specifically, this project connects the town with the hamlet of La Rambla Salada using panels with appropriate signage and markers, making it accessible to all walkers.

Official Opening

All these associations share the mission of improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities or cerebral palsy and their families.
