For the fifth consecutive year the "Cotijazz" festival offered in Las Torres de Cotillas a full weekend of musical activities in different locations of the town, which was as has become tradition with a great response from the public.

This musical project, organized by the Department of Culture and Torrena "CLAJ Cultural Association", started last Friday, May 9th with a performance at the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" Torrena of "Lolo García Quartet" in a day which also featured an evening concert in the "Michigan Mugs" double session and it was the responsibility of "Zebojazz Quartet" and "Ultrasonic Jazz Quartet".

On Saturday May 10 began at noon at the "Hotel Los Romeros" lindy workshop with pop (swing dance) which was taught by association "Cat's Corner".

Following this very fast dancing, the same arena hosted the "Refugio's Swing Party" with "Brandy Swing".

In the afternoon the "Michigan Mugs" again the protagonist of this jazz festival with a performance of "Patxi Valverde Quartet", while at night the activity was moved to the "Bar Amordiscos Eclectic" in concert "LCD Funk Collective ".

Finale

The last day of the event was on Sunday May 11, which included two appointments.

Morning "Pablo Martinez Flamenco Jazz Band" gave a great performance at the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" Torrena.

And in the evening the "Paco Soler Quintet" closed "Cotijazz 2014" in the "Michigan Mugs" with a tribute to JJ Johnson, which also featured a jam session.
