The second school of Secondary Education Cotillas Towers has an official name.
This educational center, known as IES No 2 since it started its journey in the year 2011-12, will be called from now on Secondary Education Institute Florida.
"With this designation the center honors the neighborhood where is located, bordering Alguazas and named after the historic cannery 'La Florida', installed in the early twentieth century and was owned by the Mallorcan Industrial Lorenzo Vicéns" explains Torreño of Education, Alfonso Sandoval.
The center is located in the vicinity of Residencial Los Peaches, occupying an area of ​​8,243 m2.
Of these, 2,867 m2 belonging to the building, and houses 12 units of Secondary and Vocational six units with a total floor area of ​​4,622 m².
The teacher-designed two-storey-building is designed in the form of U, whose wings are joined by a cube-shaped space where a large entrance hall to the building projects, connecting the three floors and acting dealer.
