Workshop participants shoe repair, with the title of "cobbler" organized "Project Abraham" in Las Torres de Cotillas received their diplomas in a ceremony on Friday June 20.
The closing ceremony, which took place in Torreño, chaired by the First Deputy Mayor Torreño, Pedro Cabrera, director of Pensions, Rating and Inclusion Programs IMAS, Miguel Angel Miranda, and Councilwoman Torrena Social Policy Fina Almela.
This initiative, which took place between the months of May and June in the House Torrena Youth in collaboration with the local Department of Social Policy, had free tuition, the morning, 12 students and a total of 40 hours.
"This workshop offered participants insights into the arrangement of footwear and leather garments, plus motivation to self-employment, because their goal was to train people in the workforce or at risk of social exclusion to have options to access the world labor, "explains Almela.
"Project Abraham" has a long experience in social and collaboration with the City of Las Torres de Cotillas, projects, and has developed in recent years a number of similar training workshops in the town, such as the recycling of clothing or sewing.
