The candidate for mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas by the Coronado Popular Party (PP), Domingo, expressed his intention to form a minority municipal government on Saturday June 13 as the most voted list after elections last Sunday 24 May.
An election that gave his party a simple majority achieved by the ten councilors, compared to five the PSOE, four Citizen Change and the two Towers.
Coronado, who in recent days has held several meetings with the other three political forces will be represented in the full City of Las Torres de Cotillas during the next legislature, he expressed his confidence that the decision Torreño and torreñas is respected and govern the most voted candidate (obtained 3,984 votes, that is, the 43'38% of the votes cast).
"Our aim is a minority government, providing stability to the municipal government and agreeing the issues that are necessary to create jobs and that the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas progress for the good of all our neighbors," says the mayor now functions of the town.
"After discussions we have had we have two things clear: that the PSOE presented its candidate for mayor on June 13 and that the sole purpose of changing the PP Torres is leaving the city government," says Coronado, mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas since 2003.
