The sports center located in the district of Carmen de Las Torres de Cotillas and provides services to all residents of the environment who want to make use of this brand new facility recently built.
The works, carried out by the Torreño near the school "La Florida", counted with an investment of 66,525 euros.
These have allowed the construction of a track that has a total of 1,056 m2, in which a football pitch (40x20 meters) and basketball cross direction (22x15 meters) is located.
The facility has a strong reinforced concrete with colored polished finish, and is also enclosed with low walls of reinforced concrete and mesh fencing.
This sports facility of free entrance is located in the center of the neighborhood, in an open area, easily accessible and well connected to the main streets of the town.
Thus it joins the rest of municipal sports offer, which makes available to the inhabitants of the municipality sports courts in virtually all neighborhoods and districts, and the sports center.
This currently has various facilities, among which are the following: 11 two football fields (one with artificial turf and one with natural grass), four paddle tennis courts, three tennis courts, a pediment, a climbing wall, one table tennis room, an area for archery, sauna, multi-area fitness equipment, two pavilions covered area, a skate-board, two sports courts outdoors, multipurpose room.
