A year morning on December 5 is celebrated as "International Volunteer Day" and, as has become tradition in Las Torres de Cotillas, it has been commemorated with a breakfast of coexistence between volunteers and beneficiaries with those conducting the voluntary action.
This took place on the morning of Friday 4 December in the courtyard of the Social Centre for the Elderly, with the assistance of the Councillor for Social Services, Maria Dolores Sanchez, and the director of the Center for Social Services, Agueda Sanchez .
To brighten the morning, it has also sounded the music have touched members of the Rondalla Torreño center itself.
In this meeting which had joined the Day Center users of these facilities- the Torreño wanted to thank the people who selflessly give their time to others.
And it has made handing a plaque recognizing their work, so it is physical evidence of altruism that surrounds his work.
