The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, today signed agreements with two associations of relatives of Alzheimer patients to provide respite care service in Day Centres also signed two agreements for primary care activities with Commonwealth of Social Services Ricote Valley and the City of Las Torres de Cotillas.
In total the amount that will provide the public administration, for the most part the Autonomous Region amounted to 477,298 euros.
The first two agreements are with the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's and Dementia Sewer (AFAD), and the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer Region (Afamur).
The first association of the Autonomous Region will receive 37,560 euros and the second 37,574.
For its part, contribute AFAD Afamur 12,520 to 12,525 euros.
The purpose of these agreements is to rest, for a certain period of time, the family usually takes care of the sick.
Is guaranteed to affected persons at least 3,440 hours care in the center.
As for the agreements on social services of Primary Care, one of them has signed with the Commonwealth of the Ricote Valley.
This is an additional protocol for this year, according to which the Autonomous Community, will fund, together with the Ministry of Education, Social Policy and Sport, 193,664 euros to support social service centers, and, on its own, 212,087 euros to develop the home help service.
The Commonwealth, for its part, will bring 135,251 for both services.
Regarding the agreement signed with the City of Las Torres de Cotillas, the Autonomous Community, together with the Ministry, will contribute EUR 74,895 for the maintenance of social service centers, primary care, and 88,284 for their own home help, and 45,321 for the Programme of support for social inclusion.
The City will provide, for these services, 69,500 euros.
