And in Las Torres de Cotillas this date will be commemorated with various activities planned by the Department of Equal Opportunities Torrena, with a common goal: to achieve real equality between men and women

Thus, the program began in the afternoon on Friday November 21 by holding educational workshops and a storyteller for children in the courtyard of the Casa de la Cultura "Pedro Serna" in the municipality.

A few days after beginning a series of courses and workshops for women in the municipality, which starts with the "self-defense workshop" (20 to 21 hours), to be held between 24 and 27 November and is a useful practice-regardless of physical condition or age, in which participants will learn the behavior of defense that must be followed in case of aggression.

In addition, it will take place Nov. 25 during a first awareness of gender violence (18 to 20 hours), which will be continued two days later at the same time.

These activities will take place in the Social Center of the hamlet Torrena of the pulpit (C / Valencia, 17) and will have a toy library service for children accompanying their mothers.

Coeducation and equal opportunity

Also, and in December the planned activities will continue in the Youth House.
