It's been 72 years since his death, but remains as present and actual as in life.
The figure of the poet Federico García Lorca Granada still very much alive in the culture of our country and, therefore, on Saturday November 22 received in the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" Las Torres de Cotillas child tax appeal.
Organized by the local theater group "Tejuba" and the culture department of the municipality, this act of heartfelt homage to as one of the greatest poets and playwrights of the first world half-century had the innocent and imaginative touch they put the children in the municipality.
Thus, the smallest components of the "Tejuba" between 3 and 11 years, read several poems by García Lorca, while the components of the local artistic groups "Kimera" and "chamois" danced several songs related to the poet.
Those chosen were engaged or composite parts of the Andalusian texts such as "La Tarara", "Nana de Sevilla", "At five of the July 5" or "gypsy zorongo."
Cultural days of "Vergel"
This tribute to the Andalusian poet, one of the most famous victims of the Spanish Civil War, was part of the schedule of events and cultural events compiled by the Department of Culture Torrena for the fourth quarter, which will continue on Thursday, November 27 .
So, back to the municipal House of Culture cycle of "literary Thursday" with the centenary of the poet and writer Juan Ramon Jimenez as a backdrop.
