And in Las Torres de Cotillas this date is commemorated with various activities planned by the Department of Equal Opportunities Torrena (a series of courses and workshops for women in the municipality), with a common goal: to achieve real equality between men and women ,
Thus, CAVI (Centre for Care for Women Victims of Gender Violence) organized on the morning of Thursday 27 November a day of awareness, which has been assisted by Teresa Moreno, director of the Institute for Women's Region of Murcia.
Under the heading "Profile and needs of battered women in the municipality" and addressed to all political and technical staff of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas, this initiative has taken place in the hall of the Social Center of the pulpit.
