The Department of Environment, Agriculture and Water Towers Cotillas continues with the activities of their "National Environmental Awareness Campaign" for this year.
In this line of action, the following proposal is that the students know the Sewage Treatment Station (STP) in the municipality Torreño-located three kilometers from the town, in the place of Soto Ritas of the hamlet of La Loma- and know how it works and the value of their activity to the locality.
Thus, two groups of about 50 students of IES Salvador Sandoval "will turn the next 24, 25 and February 26 from 9 to 11 hours.
The following are the students of the school "Monte Azahar", about 35 students who visited the wastewater treatment plant on 12 March (9-11 hours).
Finally, a group of 35-40 students of the "Divine Master" on 17 March (9-11 hours).

These visits will Torreño young people to learn more about this municipal facility of 40,000 square meters, with a treatment capacity of 12,500 cubic meters of water per day, equivalent to the waste generated by a population estimated at a projected growth in 25 years of about 145,000 inhabitants.
