Cotillas Towers celebrates its "III Floral Games" of poetry (24/06/2009)

The Department of Culture of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas and "Literary Association Towers" have called the third edition of "Floral Games" of the municipality, which will be decided on the occasion of the festivity to be held next August in honor of the Virgen de la Salceda.

This poetry competition, now in its second year running after being recovered in the town 40 years after holding its first edition in 1968, calls for national and closes its deadline for submissions on 31 July.

The winning poem will rise with the natural flora and a prize of 1,000 euros, and there will be two runners, worth 300 euros each to the two poems that continue to merit the winner.

The poems are unpublished, written in Castilian and signed with a pseudonym.

The minimum length is 60 lines and up to 100.

The theme is free, and the mode of versification, which is left to free choice of the author.
