The Department of Equal Opportunities Cotillas Towers continues its program of activities and on the morning of Monday 23 has initiated a "Symposium on Gender Violence from a socio-health", aimed at the general population of the municipality and is being held at the Casa de la Cultura "Pedro Serna" the town in early morning from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
The opening act has been played by the mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Fina Almela, and after he has developed two presentations: the one made by the psychologist and specialist in couples therapy and coeducation, Mary Prats, entitled "Overview on gender violence" and the starring psychologist device Crisis Intervention in the College of Psychologists in the Region of Murcia for Victims of Domestic Violence, Mercedes García, entitled "The process of violence.
How do you generate gender-based violence? ".
Also, at the conclusion of talks was held a roundtable on awareness and prevention of gender violence and equal education.
The second and last of these meetings will be on Wednesday November 25 and will focus on psychosocial intervention to the problem of abuse.
The first presentation will be provided by the device coordinator of Services for Women Victims of Violence 112, Margarita Villanueva, and is entitled "Actions to cases of abuse in the emergency services", the second will be conducted by psychologist Center Emergency Women Victims of Domestic Violence of Women's Institute, María José Belmonte, entitled "Psychological care in situations of domestic violence."
In conclusion, we held the roundtable "Gender violence: addressing a social problem."
Childhood education in values
On the other hand, the Constitution Park will host on Saturday 28 November (9.30 to 13.30) for a workshop on education in values, respect and coexistence, which are expected to attend Mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Fina Almela.
For children, parents of the municipality, they held games to develop attitudes and behaviors that lead to establishing a new model of social relations based on equality, respect and responsibility among the smallest.
Finally, the course "Time management: reconciling family life, work and family" will aim to get students more control and autonomy in personnel administration work.
Aimed at the population of the municipality in general, this course is particularly suitable for those who need to reconcile their work and personal life, improving the way we organize and manage their time.
With the 30 November and 2 and 3 December as implementation dates, times 17 to 20.30 hours and toy library service, this proposal will be held at the Youth House Torrena.
