The Director General of Trade and Handicrafts exhibition opens this afternoon 'Oficio@artes.sano' in Las Torres de Cotillas (20/04/2010)

The Director General of Trade and Crafts, Julio José Lorenzo, inaugurated this afternoon in Las Torres de Cotillas (at 20:00 pm in the Center for Young Artists, Tirso de Molina street, s / n) the exhibition "Craft @ arts . healthy ', organized by CREA artisan association with the participation of the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research with the collaboration of local council.

The exhibition, involving 14 artisans from the region, reveals the quality and design trends in the craft, showing a wide range of works in glass, copper and brass, silver, ceramics, paper, sculpture , natural cosmetics, paints and dolls, among other materials.

The director general said "the harmony of the craft, design and art are the elements that have made this exhibition a reality, broadcasting from the identity and uniqueness of each craft a harmonious set of ideas full of light and color, each object appreciating the warmth and beauty, and feeling that each piece is endowed with a soul.. "

This touring exhibition is a measure supported by the Ministry to raise awareness and promote regional crafts and the latest trends to get a wide audience, "what contributes to both the quality of the works and the itinerant nature of the sample will to various municipalities in the region, "said the CEO.

Participating artisans

Note that most artisans participating in the sample have authorized the use of the mark Craft Murcia and several have been finalists and winners of regional crafts.

The exhibition features works by Arcadio Hernández Campillo (paper), Carmen Martínez Azorín (glazed), Jesús Gómez Alegría (goldsmith), Gregorio Ibáñez (wood carver), Alfonso E.

Uriah White (glass), Bernardo Blanco López (jeweler), Javier Fernández and María Dolores Caravaca Saurin Riquelme (cosmetics), Juan Herrera Hernandez (wrist), CB Piñero & Pi, Juan Piñero Ayala, and Marisa Albadalejo Ginesa Peaguda (potters), Rosana González (painter artist) and Anabel del Canto (enamel)

The exhibition will be open until next April 30 the hours of 17:30 to 20:30 pm with free admission to the public.
